Deliverable: High fidelity concept screens
My Role: I was in charge of creating UI screens for a battery saving app.
This was a personal UI/Visual Design challenge for myself. I had a few low fidelity screens of a concept battery saving app. I wanted to give myself two days to create a high fidelity version. When designing, I’ve learned that it’s always important to keep the user in mind. Everyone’s preference varies, which is why I created two versions that appeal to two different aesthetics. I have created 4 screens for each version: a home screen, battery screen, menu screen, and a clean cache screen. I will now break down why I chose these two styles and their significance.
Note
Flat design is currently the UI trend at the moment for applications, so I wanted to create a few screens that would showcase my ability to create apps using the flat design model. I wanted something bright and bold while keeping things simplistic.

I wanted to be able to show my versatility in design styles. The idea was to create another version that was skeuomorphic with a darker and minimal color selection. The feeling from this app is very different from the first, even though the functionality is identical.
